Ok here we go Marthea I Finlay am ready to tell everyone my 5 addictions, I don't have a good excuse for not getting to it till now so I will just save it and get it done.
For the record this is not in any particular order.

1. My dog Mali, as much as I try and fight it I just cant help but be addicted to her loving nature and her complete devotion to me.

2. Chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate. I swear I have this uncontrollable urge to eat chocolate like a smoker needs a cigarette. Especially after I eat a meal.

3. The Internet has to be on this list. When I am board or don't have much going on I find myself getting on the web and just surfing around looking at whatever comes to mind.

4. Reality T.V. I love to watch other people make fools out of themselves, it makes me feel better about myself.

5. My lovely, beautiful and intelligent wife. You thought I was going to leave you out of this list didn't you Honey? I truly find myself more and more addicted to her as the days and months go by. I am not sure what I would be doing right now if it were not for my lovely wife. If I had to number the addictions that I have Alida would be at the very top of the list, hands down.

We had some heavy snow the last couple of days. The snow has been nice but I learned that I do not enjoy shoveling driveways.......
I wanted to show everyone what we do with our ginger bread house after Christmas. I first tried to blow it up with some fireworks but, that did not work so we tried somthing more effective. Sorry about the camera shot on the second one I had no control over that one.

It has been a very exciting time for Alida and I. Alida has been experiencing some of the more unwanted effects of pregnancy, she has been throwing up allot lately. Poor girl, I wish there was something I could do to make it stop but we are hopeful that it will subside very soon. We had out firs check up on Friday and got this picture of the baby. It is to soon to tell whether it is a boy or a girl yet but, when it is 20 weeks along we can take another ultrasound that will give us a much better view of the baby and what sex it will be. They said that we could even get it on video. For most of you that are already parents this is probably old hat to you but, for Alida and I it is a very exciting time. When we had the ultrasound it really hit me that this is really happening, there is a little person in there and I am actually going to be a dad, wow. The official due date is August 3. We will keep you all posted on what is happening.... Sorry to have taken so long to get this up and running Marthea......

It is really looking like winter time here in Iniana now. The leaves have all fallen off the tree's and the temp. has dropped substantially, we even had some snow on Saturday. Thanks giving was fun as usual, most of the family got together at Tammy and Tracy's house and had more food than we should have and played lots of games ( well not Aaron ) and watched football. To start the day off right we had our annual Turkey bowl, I am proud to say that this year my ( Aaron's ) team won. There were no serious injuries and no one had any harsh words, although a couple of people took some really big hits.

Wow, I think we carved our pumpkins a little soon. Now they just look like Senior citizen pumpkins. I think the one on the right might win if we had a contest again. Thanks for all the voting you all did, it was a lot of fun watching and seeing who's carving was up and down.
For the record Alida told me we needed to wait a little longer to carve but I got a little impatient. I swear next year I will listen to her.
The one on the left was : Aaron - center: Alida - right:Kelcy

The winner of the first annual pumpkin carving contest is............................... AARON..................... yaaaaaa. Alida gave me a good run for the money but was not able to upset my lead . Kelcy didn't bomb out completely, she did manage to get 3% of the vote. OK who ever gave her the vote we wanna know who you are so leave a comment. Alida and I went to a cool Halloween party last week. we had a scavenger hunt that made us run all over town and do crazy things, all the while video taping them. We all met back at the Horns house and watched each others tapes and graded them. Out of the four teams Alida's group came in first place and my group came in 3rd. We all had a good time though win or lose. { even though we should have won }.....
